Activation Procedure

  • Please follow the step-by-step guide in the manual booklet that comes in with the SIM card package
  • Important: If you try the SIM card at counter and it doesn’t work, cancellation will be accepted. However, cancellation will not be accepted if you cannot establish APN setting and your phone is not comptaible with due to not SIM free device
  • Validity starts as soon as the SIM card is inserted into the phone. It is advised to use the SIM immediately to avoid cases of failed activation

  • Under the Fair Usage Policy, data speed and usage may be limited for users who process large amounts of data in a short period of time. This is at the discretion of the subscribed telecommunications company and may occur without prior notice
  • Please refrain from extensive video streaming and/or processing a huge amount of data in a short time
  • The operator is not responsible or liable for any changes made to data speed or usage. You will still be charged the agreed upon fee during your rental period
  • This is a Data-only SIM card. Calls, texts, or topping up additional credits will not be possible
  • Detailed data usage is based on the backend data of the telecommunications company and the network speeds may vary in remote areas
  • Kindly check the complete list of network providers that are supported by this SIM
  • You must fix the APN (Access Point Name) setting before browsing. Please read the guidelines on how to set your APN profile
  • Double-check your phone and network settings if you cannot connect to the network after inserting your SIM. If the network speed is slow or if there are other connection problems occuring simultaneously, such as device is not compatible with our sim card or if you fail to set up APN setting, please contact Sakura Mobile customer support team via email (contact@sakuramobile.jp)
  • Please make sure you’ve specififed your name, booking number, and shipping information in the email
  • Unlimited Data packages: the operator will not cover any troubles due to device incompatibility or any other occasion that causes invalid use of the device
  • **Unlimited Data with Compatibility Insurance: Provide guaranteed connectivity with the device and a WiFi device will be shipped to your hotel as a replacement in the case that the SIM card is not working due to any technical issues
