Itinerary
DAY 01: KLIA ASSEMBLY / TRANSIT (TBA)
- Assemble at KUALA LUMPUR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KLIA 1) — 03 hours before departure, for the flight to SKOPJE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.
DAY 02: TRANSIT (TBA) – ARRIVAL IN SKOPJE (L/D)
- Arrival at SKOPJE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, welcome and meet with the English-speaking tour guide.
- Continue with the city tour of Skopje.
- Tour destinations: Kale Fortress, Stone Bridge, Macedonia Square, Statue of Alexander the Great and Fountain, Feudal Tower, Clock Tower, Daut Pasha Hamam, Aqueduct, Kapan Han, Kurshumli Han, Old Bazaar, Mother Teresa Memorial House, Old Railway Station, visit Mustafa Pasha Mosque from the 15th century, Sultan Murat Mosque, and Isa Bey Mosque.
- After lunch, proceed to Matka Canyon, a man-made wonder that must be seen to be believed.
- Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Skopje.
DAY 03: SKOPJE – TETOVO [45 MINUTES] (51.9 KM) – OHRID [2 HOURS 08 MINUTES] (132.6 KM) (B/L/D)
- After breakfast at the hotel, continue the journey to Ohrid.
- Get ready to explore Ohrid, the Pearl of the Balkans and the most captivating city in North Macedonia.
- On the way to Ohrid, we will stop in Tetovo to see the 15th-century Painted Mosque.
- The tour continues to Ohrid. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at a halal-certified restaurant.
- After lunch, start the tour of Ohrid by visiting: Old Bazaar of Ohrid, Ali Pasha Mosque, Old Chinar Tree, walk through the Old Town, Upper Gate, Samoil Fortress, Ancient Theatre, St. Sophia Church, St. Jovan Kaneo, and many other historical monastic sites, Saints Clement and Panteleimon Church, Pearl Shop, and Ohrid Square – free time for shopping.
- Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Ohrid.
DAY 04: OHRID – TIRANA [2 HOURS 38 MINUTES] (133.6 KM) – SHKODER [2 HOURS 06 MINUTES] (102.5 KM) (B/L/D)
- After breakfast, visit St. Naum Monastery and the springs of the Black Drim River!
- Then, cross the border into Albania and head to Tirana.
- Upon arrival in Tirana, enjoy lunch at a halal-certified restaurant.
- Start the tour with a sightseeing bus tour to Skanderbeg Square, Skanderbeg Statue, Et’hem Bey Mosque, and the Clock Tower.
- Continue the journey to Shkoder and start with a city tour of Shkoder.
- Tour destinations: visit the old city of Shkoder, including Rozafa Castle, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Mosque, and the Marubi National Photography Museum.
- Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Shkoder.
DAY 05: SHKODER – BUDVA [2 HOURS 12 MINUTES] (85.5 KM) – KOTOR [30 MINUTES] (22.8 KM) (B/L/D)
- After breakfast, continue the journey to Montenegro and visit Budva.
- On the way, stop briefly for photos at the beautiful St. Stefan.
- Visit Budva Land Gate, Ancient Necropolis, The Fortress, Njegosh’s Street, Marina, Mediteranska Street, Ballerina, and Morgen Beach.
- Next, stop at the town of Kotor. Enjoy the tour and see the Square of Arms, Becic Palace, Byzantine Palace, Prima Palace, St. Tryphon’s Palace, Maritime Museum, and North Gate. Kotor Bay is a UNESCO protected natural and cultural area.
- Free time for lunch at a halal-friendly restaurant. Afterward, continue the journey to the Dubrovnik area.
- Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Dubrovnik.
DAY 06: DUBROVNIK – MOSTAR [2 HOURS 28 MINUTES] (139.6 KM) (B/L/D)
- Breakfast at the hotel. Today is a day to explore the Adriatic Gem—Dubrovnik.
- Visit Dubrovnik Old Town, City Walls, the iconic symbol famous for its white stone beauty, making Dubrovnik known as the Adriatic Gem.
- Admire the captivating architecture at the Rector’s Palace, a harmonious Gothic and Renaissance style palace with several Baroque additions.
- Continue the journey to Mostar, a town with an interesting history, beautiful architecture, and natural surroundings in the Neretva River valley.
- Arrival and visit the Old Bridge (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Bey Mosque, Oriental Bazaar, and Turkish House.
- Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Mostar.
DAY 07: MOSTAR – SARAJEVO – BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA [2 HOURS 16 MINUTES] (128.6 KM) (B/L/D)
- After breakfast, continue the journey to Sarajevo.
- Visit Vrelo Bosne (the spring of the Bosna River with a beautiful lake full of fish, swans, and small green islands) and the Tunnel of Hope Museum.
- Lunch at a local halal restaurant.
- Continue the city tour of Sarajevo: Bascarsija, many Mosques, Oriental Shops, Latin Bridge (where Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated), Vjecnica, and the City Hall.
- Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Sarajevo.
DAY 08: SARAJEVO – PLITVICE [5 HOURS 30 MINUTES] (331.3 KM) – BIHAC [31 MINUTES] (20.1 KM) (B/L/D)
- After breakfast, continue the journey to Plitvice Lakes (Entrance Option 50 EURO).
- Lunch at a local halal restaurant.
- Prepare your cameras! Time to capture stunning pictures at Croatia’s oldest, largest, and most impressive national park.
- Afterward, continue the journey to Bihac.
- Dinner and overnight at a hotel in Bihac.
DAY 09: BIHAC – ZAGREB [2 HOURS 39 MINUTES] (157.7 KM) (B)
- After breakfast, continue the journey to Zagreb.
- City tour, shopping, and sightseeing at Dolac Bazaar, St. Mark’s Church, Lotrscak Tower, Ban Jelacic Square.
- Next, transfer to ZAGREB AIRPORT for the flight back to Malaysia.
DAY 10: ARRIVAL IN KUALA LUMPUR
- Arrival at KUALA LUMPUR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KLIA).
- Return home with sweet memories and souvenirs.
Note: The itinerary may be reversed – departing from Zagreb to Skopje or from Skopje to Zagreb.
